Catholic School Community Council

Being a part of our Catholic School Community Council (CSCC) is one of many ways that parents can be involved with their child's schooling. It is also a great way to have a voice in education and get first-hand knowledge of how our school runs. The Jean Vanier Catholic School Community Council (CSCC) meets regularly to discuss school matters. The the purpose of the CSCC is, through the active participation of parents, to improve pupil achievement and to enhance the accountability of the education system to parents. In addition, we strive to provide a caring, nurturing, educational environment steeped in the Catholic tradition.

Congratulations to our 2015-2016 CSCC chair Lori Amodeo. In addition, we thank our members who have come forward for their commitment to our Catholic school community.

Meetings have been set for the following dates at 5:30 PM in the office conference room:
Wednesday, September 21st
Thursday, October 20th
Thursday, February 16th
Thursday, April 27th
Wednesday, May 19th

We ask parents to also mark Monday, May 9th on their calendars. This year our Parent Reaching Out Grant funds are being directed to an evening on social network safety. We will have a guest speaker Paul Davis key-note this evening.
