Welcome to the 2016/2017 school year! We hope that you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer with friends and loved ones and are ready for a successful school year. For those returning, we warmly welcome you back. For our new families, we would like to welcome you to our school community. We are happy that you have chosen a Catholic education for your child and we hope that you always feel at home at Jean Vanier Catholic High School.
Our first day of school is one week from today; Tuesday, September 6th. Period 1 homerooms will be posted in the main foyer on the first day of school. Students will receive their timetables in their period 1 homeroom.
We will be welcoming our Grade 9 students tomorrow at our Grade 9 Orientation Day. The day takes place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This day will allow students to tour the school, get their schedule and locker, find their classes, meet other grade 9 students, teachers and members of our Link Crew. Students will also enjoy a pizza lunch. We are looking forward to a fun day!
DGN Kilters was in the school on August 23rd and August 24th for their annual Summer Sale. For the 2016/2017 school year, which begins September 6th, hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. To contact the uniform store, please call 705-445-2043 ext 120.
