Greetings Vanier Parents and Guardians,
It is hard to believe that we are almost 6 weeks into our very busy school year. We are so very proud of our students and their dedication to their studies and their respect for our school and community.

Wednesday, October 12 ~ Thanksgiving Food Drive Ends
Monday, October 10th ~ Thanksgiving Holiday (*No School)
Monday, October 17th ~ IEP’s sent home
Tuesday, October 18th ~ Early Communication Letters mailed home
Wednesday, October 19th ~ University Information Program at Stayner Collegiate Institute
Thursday, October 20th ~ Picture Retake Day
Thursday, October 20th ~ Catholic School Community Council Meeting 5:30 PM in the library
Friday, October 21st ~ PA Day for Staff (*No School)
Thursday, October 27th ~ College Information Program at Georgian College in Barrie
Thursday, October 27th ~ Parent-Teacher Interview Night, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (*more information to come)
Wednesday, November 2nd ~ Take Your Kid To Work Day (Grade 9 students)
Friday, November 4th ~ Semi-Formal
In addition, we are also running a full complement of co-curriculars and we encourage all of our students to get involved. The Student Achievement Centre is also open for one on one help with any subject.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday we give thanks for the many blessings in our lives. We have much to be thankful for in our families, our school and our community. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!
